Why You Should Join Our Strut...

If you have an interest in light (or possibly heavy) aviation, be it as a plane spotter, home builder, PPL holder or LAA member, and you live not a million miles from Popham Airfield in Hampshire, joining the LAA Andover Strut will give you access to like minded people, interesting aviation related talks and the opportunity to take part in the various events we hold throughout the year.

What's Best About Our Strut?

Variety: We meet once a month (2nd Monday in the month) and a have a full programme of interesting talks. In the recent past we have been treated to talks on "Chasing the Morning Sun" by Manuel Queiorz and "Restoration of a Historic Hurricane" by Peter Vacher to name just two. Through our regular events such as an annual BBQ in the middle of a field (Barton Ashes), a fly-in weekend at Popham Airfield, etc. We also raise money for charity and get involved in helping out at the Annual LAA Rally with our speciality being management of the Camp Site.
